Executive Director, Shana Greene, just returned from Saratoga, New York where her son, Jonathan Greene, and dear friend, Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius, hosted an “It Takes a Village Party!” to benefit Village Volunteers.
While conducting a successful silent auction and as friends served food and wine representing each VV country, Elizabeth, Jonathan, and their band Heard put on an impressive performance playing jazz and world music with an African flair.
A very special meeting also took place that night as Shana and VVQ’s designer and editor, Kim Clune, met for the first time. They have worked together for over two years, phone each other weekly (if not daily), and have become each other’s family – yet they had never laid eyes on each other until this exciting visit.
